its not that great of a pedal,
ive had it for a while,
and it was the first tube pedal i ever owned,
and it was cool to hear a really authentic sound,
but that i tried the ibanez tube king and WOW,
its crazzyyyy! but i got the english muff’n for only 80 bucks, so neat! haha

i think the dood from wolfmother uses one on his bass, maybe try and search for some live stuff

I bought one last week and have to agree–I even prefer this over the SD Twin Tube Mayhem and the Blackstar HT-DISTX. Suits my style a lot more.

Im sold on it.. though I only have a pf15r practice solid state vox at the moment. Im going to leave the amp clean and let this be my preamp and see what’s what. It will work until I get a tube amp

i imagine this pedal would work really well as a booster. great overdrive on it’s own, kinda like a better version of a tubescreamer, with more gain and better mids…
